Hey

With reluctance I am posting a bit more of a desperate plea to look at me and what I do and maybe commission me for some artwork or get me on board for a project or whatever the fuck else you’d want me to do! This is why! Look down!

I need to be able to support myself reliably enough to move by the end of the year in a very unlikely best-case scenario. I am transgender as well as gay in the middle of fuck nowhere Utah. This is dangerous for a number of reasons. I am disabled both physically and mentally, but have repeatedly been unable to secure this status in any official capacity. I work a part-time job as a substitute teacher in order to try to make an income but it’s slim pickings. If I am unable to support myself in the near future I will become homeless without a tangible support system or a car or any of the things that would help make climbing back out more doable, especially for someone like me. (UPDATE: I have a car now thanks to some very generous commissioners and donors helping me get what I needed to make a decent down payment. Thank you!)

I’d like to avoid begging (I’m a very prideful and shameful sort of bitch/hag) so in lieu of that while I still have a bit more time to try to get my shit together, here’s a much less sad commission info sheet, as well as my patreon where you can get early access to my work as well as works in progress and whatever else I feel like dumping there. I’m also extremely open to doing more unique pieces than the standard online commission fare and would love to work with you. And, as my final shameless self-promotion, remember HLVRAI? Passport guardian? I made that. I’m 3 years older now so I can do better music. You can commission me for music too. DM me for literally anything you are willing to pay me to make. Thank you

AS OF 5/10/2023:

I am still in this situation! There is some impending weirdness going on with it that may or may not shorten the timeframe I have to accomplish this in! I don’t know! I now am about to have two jobs, but for the summer there…aren’t any subbing opportunities so it’ll functionally be 1 for a few months. Now that I have a car, my goal is really just to save up as much as possible in order to prep to GTFO and become independent. That’s all for this update and thank you everyone who has supported me so far, it means a ton

they should make those tourism websites for cities but instead its for things to do when you live there your entire life. What do i do lol

I actually have some good tips!

1. Actual tourist guides can be super informative. Sounds stupid but it does work. There’s a ton of stuff I only saw because I Googled “hidden gems in [my city]”

2. I often check my local museum for temporary exhibitions, it’s always something new to see!

3. I also love to check my library page for events. There’s a ton of cool events like workshops and author meetings.

4. I try to go even 20km outside where I live. It always feels new!

5. If you have a local newspaper/webpage it’s an amazing source of info what to do /where to go.

I hope some of these tips work out for you c: Because they legit made my life better and it’s a pretty cheap way to have a great time. Good luck!
